Dashboard Experiments in phases with Traditional ChatGPT, Data Analyst Agent, and Data Visualization Expert Agent. Diving into why AI needs more than context.
If there’s one thing this experiment made clear, it’s this: ChatGPT is not an autopilot. It’s a copilot. And copilots only perform well when given a clear flight plan, with context, intent, and direction.

I wholly agree with it. AI, in its current form, is a co-pilot, that can help us in our day to day, under clear instructions from humans. We'll see how it evolves, but even now the value is massive.
So happy to read your message. You captured the core idea of the article so well!
For me, GenAI should be a copilot that boosts, not a crutch that blinds. Like VAR in soccer: it’s there to help the referee make fairer calls, but the referee still needs critical thinking. Otherwise, we risk becoming hostages to a system that (still) makes mistakes 😉
Thank you very much for sharing your point of view! Within the metaphor we suggested, our point is exactly this: the clearer the flight plan, the better the AI performance. Perhaps this is the big challenge now: learning to give good instructions, which in itself has already become a valuable skill.
I liked this sentence a lot:
